Jesse McLanahan

   I'm an artist/ maker from Erie, Pennsylvania. Currently living in Pittsburgh, Pa.  I've been drawing ever since I can remember.   After high school I got an Associates Degree in Graphic Design/ Multi Media arts from Tri-State Institute now Fortis Institute in Erie, Pennsylvania.  Worked at a screen print shop for a summer making graphics then started a traditional tattoo apprenticeship shortly after.  Which would make it about 12+ years tattooing off and on full-time in a shop now.  In between that time I went to WyoTech to learn metal fabrication and custom painting.  After graduating there I worked at Bonnells Rod Shop in Erie, Pennsylvania for 2 years doing all different kinds of collision, fabrication, and paint refinishing work.  Then 6 years at Pro Comp Custom in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the main metal fabricator.  Creating custom interiors, body panels, parts/ pieces from scratch.   All while tattooing and doing other art projects on the side for extra cash.  About 4 years ago I started a YouTube channel the same time I started making knives and other similar bladed/ EDC items.  I also like to dabble in making anything I feel I can execute well enough to be happy about it. (furniture, home decor, etc.)
